FLUSAR TECHNICAL RESCUE 

ICFTA TRT Branch provides you with an array of FLUSAR Technical Training, which are needed to join FEMA USAR Teams

The Technical Rescue Branch comprises of all 5 main subjects within the program. These are; Rope Rescue, Vehicle and Machinery Extrication, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Rescue, & Structural Collapse Rescue Training. NFPA and OSHA Standards are discussed and learned in order to meet FLUSAR/ FEMA course objectives.

Once all classes are completed, ICFTA will guide you to obtain two special certifications. 

FLUSAR Rescue Specialist Certification (FSFC)

Pro-Board National Rescuer Accreditation Certification, Testing (Available Upon Request Only)

Rope Rescuer Levels I & II - 80 hrs

Ops 40-hrs: Aug 12 - 15
(Rope Rescue Operations: Required for all other TRT Classes)

Tech 40-hrs: Aug 26 - 29
